OF and this are being compared because they're both contemporary rap groups with releases less than a month apart. Not hard to figure out at all.

OF dominating 'similar artists' on this page prompted the comparisons, not to say that these comparisons haven't run their course though. Oh yeah, @Jeremy371, go screw yo'self - FOREVER!

This sh*t is so headbangin' and raw, OF are just for getting rid of built up teenagerism. Tru that Deathgripz' has way better production @decadelate - kinda gets to me too, recently the only song of Tyler I can bear is Toro y Moi's remix of french.

Zach Hill is 1/3 of the group. The other two members are unnamed as far as I know.

Where Odd Future sounds like a bunch of kids trying to sound fucked up for laughs, Death Grips sounds like it's sincerely fucked up. [2] they're related because "they're both white hipster fodder" (not to say they aren't both good) and also they are both very angry. but as mentioned above, sure OF is offensive but we know it's an act, Death Grips is just straight up terrifying and I would not want to meet the MC in a dark alley.

sound wise there are really no similarities between OF and DG. i guess it's just the idea that they're two abrasive rap groups that makes them alike in any sense.
